Welcome to my blog !
Yeah...just letting u know...hahaha...
Seems like a long time since I've last blogged although it has only been a couple of weeks. Well, just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still alive and well. haha...Oh, I've upgraded my phone to a 3G one and it's brilliant!! Just did a video call with Mingxian and managed to see my host family in Japan! Cool isn't it? Managed to say hi and use my degenerating Japanese. Hahaha....I am planning to go to Japan in December but the way things have been dragging on, I wonder whether that's possible or not. I've already taken my leave...but who knows. *Sigh* I haven't told anyone there that I will be going over...don't want them to anticipate anything. Unlike our dear Satoshi, who told me AND jonny that he plans to come to Singapore. It has been a year...he still hasn't set foot on this sunny island. Instead, he bought a car. Damn. Ah well...I'll see how things go. I'd love to bitch about my job...but I can't be bothered to type things out. Who knows who might be reading this blog anyways. Right?

Okies...I shall meet up with all you good pals of mine and we should chill out...like today! Thanks Let-chan for organising the lunch cum movie outing...although you fell sick and ended up staying at home. Did you fall sick after staying up all night with Andy Lau?? *laughs* 'Death Note' wasn't that fantastic but neither was it horrible. I would watch all the movies just because I'm such a fan of the manga. I love the plot of the manga...but in movieland...things have to speed up AND change. They changed quite a bit of the story in the movie. Shan't spoil it for those who haven't watched it. Hee. Btw, I refuse to watch "Sinking of Japan". Looks like its headed down the drain and most film reviewers agree. Waste of moolah I tell you. I'd rather spend it on a new pair of shoes. Speaking of which, I need to get proper footwear if I'm really headed to Hokkaido. Boots? Uggs? Dochira ga iino??
Yes it's Friday the 13th and it's my BIRTHDAY!! WOOT!!!
There's definitely something wrong with the air in S'pore and specifically my office. People are always sick and due to the nature of this job, people still drag their sorry asses to work despite not being fully recovered. Who suffers? People like me who need the daily 10 hours of rest. I felt the beginning of a sore throat on Friday...and then I got a fever on Saturday. My nose is still stuck and if I were a doctor, I would be ordering myself to bed. But the call of duty is strong enough to make me yank myself out of bed (albeit an hour late) and go to work. Yes, I'm currently in the office.
I studied about the pension problem in Japan last year and it just occurred to me - Why doesn't the Japanese pension fund (or whatever they wanna call themselves) make investments? In that way, they no longer need to bitch about the ageing population problem creeping onto their pension AND the younger generation need not pay that much taxes in order to contribute to the pension system. Nice and neat solution isn't it? Korea's doing it, our CPF is definitely doing it. So why isn't the Japanese govt. jumping on the band wagon?

There was another shooting in the US today. 4 girls dead and 7 injured so far. What's wrong with school children in the US I wonder? Have they all gone mad? *sigh* it's sad that children are killing other children.
I'm sitting in my office and I'm bored. Bored cos there's nothing to do and I feel like sleeping...see...the main thing that I hate about my job isn't that there's nothing to do (usually) but cos I've got to get in at 7 freaking am. That's all. *yawn*
I've finally decided to take JLPT3 instead of 2 cos I really don't think that I have enough time to learn all those new grammar and vocab. I was doing past yr JLPT3 questions and I realised that there are A LOT of vocab that I haven't learnt yet. So...I shall self-study for those and memorise like mad. Let-chan...looks like I will be joining you guys next yr for JLPT2! Guifang...you can ganbare for JLPT1 next yr too! hee....

Eh...why are some other people losing weight due to diarrohea/stress? Sick. I'm not losing any weight and god forbid I put on anymore weight. *sigh*

Oh...NDR...hilarious bit. Prince (he's not king yet...we all know who's the kind...although he's supposedly semi-retired) Lee said something against Mr Brown's "bak chor mee". The retort was "mee siam mai harm (cockles)". Excuse me...since when did mee siam contain any seafood? Maybe he meant mai hiam (no chilli)...but then again...it only goes to show how Prince Lee isn't THAT witty. My bro commented that it also shows how removed Prince Lee is from the common folk. Another thing that I picked out from his rally. He compared politics to music , saying that we should all be playing the same music and something about jazz. Hello......There are different genres of music for a reason. It's called DIVERSITY and CREATIVITY. And when opinion DIFFERS, it goes to show that people CARE and are working towards a better society. Don't squash all these comments. Take them as constructive criticism. Why can't we make fun of our politicians? Too scared that our jokes are a true reflection of them? Not egotistical enough to handle jokes? To sensitive to hear things that are not praises? Not willing to admit that you're human and make stupid statements (mee siam mai harm)? Lighten up dude...and please get a better script writer.
