Welcome to my blog !
I read this article on Buzzfeed entitled "19 Things People With Chronic Pain Want You To Know" and the delightful summary was "We may not look sick, but we are sick." I definitely could relate to the article and I also liked and shared it on Facebook.

My chronic condition is endometriosis. For those who don't know what it is, it is a female issue where tissue that is supposed to remain in the uterus goes commando and grows outside of the uterus. What sort of mayhem does it do to my body?
  • irregular periods
  • excessive bleeding (there were times where my periods lasted for 2 weeks)
  • extreme cramps
  • fatigue
  • depression
  • weight gain
  • irritable bowels
Doctors don't know what causes endometriosis and there's no cure for it. I've undergone a couple of surgeries just to cope with it.

I'm more than happy to talk about my condition with friends and family, without trying to gain sympathy but to spread awareness. Heck, I only knew about fibroids until I was diagnosed with endometriosis. However, please don't make any silly comments. I got really pissed off with a headhunter once because I had written "endometriosis" on a job application and she called me to find out about it. The conversation went something like this:

Headhunter (HH): So...you get cramps every month?
Me: Err...no, I get irregular periods and sometimes the cramps don't come but sometimes they do. When they do, it varies from slight to extreme pain.
HH: So...you get cramps more than once a month?
Me: No...sometimes have, sometimes don't have. It really depends.
HH: You get depressed every month?
Me: No!! It really depends. There are a lot more good months than bad months and because I recognise the symptoms, I know how to cope with it.
HH: Are you on medication?
Me: No. I had a very bad reaction to a medication so my doctor recommends me doing things naturally to try to get my menstrual cycle to return to normal.
HH: So you have your period every month? Cramps too?
Me: (starting to feel pain from rolling my eyes too much) NO....as I've mentioned earlier, my uterus can't decide whether to come once or multiple times per month and I've got an IUD to try to prevent as many periods from coming so that the uterine lining doesn't grow.
HH: Oh...the other surgery was to remove all the lining?
Me: Yes.
HH: So it's all removed and cured lah.
Me: No...cos some of the lining, called adhesion, has caused my uterus to be stuck onto my intestines and couldn't be removed. Also, there's nothing stopping my lining from wanting to grow outside my uterus too.
HH: Oh...so it's not cured.
Me: That's why it's a chronic problem....

In the end, she told me that she'll look for long-term jobs with better medical leave due to my condition. See. Her heart wasn't in the wrong place. She just had a funny way of trying to understand that chronic conditions don't strike on schedule.

Do you know that our wallets are a lot emptier because of our medical bills? Each time I go to my gynae for a check-up, it's about $200. That's before any fancy schmancy tests or pills.

Let me stop before I go on a full-on rant explanation about my condition, as this blog post isn't about that. My post is about seeking people's understanding as well as to get more people to shed their prejudices.

It has been about 3 years since I've been diagnosed and what I have learnt is that more often than not, those who truly understand are those who have chronic conditions too. As awesome it is to have another human empathise with our condition, I want 'normal' and 'healthy' people to appreciate that despite our chronic illnesses, we're living as normal a life as we can.

以小人之心,度君子之腹。

I've heard many stories from friends who have chronic illnesses (not only me) and often times, they too complain that when they take medical leave because they have to, their colleagues get upset and roll their eyes to say, "Yet again." Sounds way too familiar to me.

It has gotten to the point where I don't feel that I've got the right to take my 14 days of annual medical leave and instead, have to take my regular leave when I'm actually not feeling well. I'm not the only one. Talking to these friends of mine, they too feel guilty whenever they have to take medical leave. When I tell this to my good 'healthy' friends, they get angry on my behalf and exclaim, "But it's your right!" Uh huh...tell that to the rest of the world who obviously take a sickie when they're not sick. These people don't realise the number of times that I haul my ass to work when I really am not feeling 100%. Please just accept that we're really not feeling well and stop thinking that we're trying to screw your work life up.

So, do forgive me for those days where I'm super emo, suddenly lethargic or when I just don't seem sociable. I don't see my endometriosis as a crutch. I do wish that I didn't have it but since I do have it, I just see it as something that I have to live with. Just like how some people hate their legs/arms/butt/shape of their eyes, I hate my condition but I still have to live with it. Can't help it.

I'm trying my best to not let it get to me (there are weeks where I may only work 3 days but I'm helluva more efficient than my peers) but I would really appreciate it if you don't make my life harder than it already is. No need to walk on eggshells. Just don't judge me.
I'm usually the one whom friends come to whenever they need a listening ear, advice or referee. However, in the last month, I experienced a mini meltdown and if I had not recognised the signs, I would've probably gone into the super troughs of depression or gone into an anxiety attack.

Why? Simply because I was too stressed out although I am the sort who is able to handle a lot more stress than usual. Post-meltdown, I realised why it had happened in the first place. It wasn't because I couldn't handle stress nor was it because I took on too many projects voluntarily. It was an accumulation of deadlines and demands from several parties, pulling me at all sides and I had no control over the pace of my work and work trolls were not helping.

Like a volcano, the eruption happened and I did a rare rant to my boss followed by me just walking away before I broke down in tears in the office. What made things worse was that my period came 3 times within those 3 weeks. Meaning that I was really under Too. Much. Stress. At the end of the day, I simply felt like doing this:

Sometimes you just want to take your teddy bear into the pool and drift away from all your troubles.

I needed comfort. I didn't really need someone to hold my hand and say that everything will be alright because I know that I'll eventually sort things out. I needed to just feel a lot less lonely when I was experiencing that mental state. I needed to motivate myself before I crawl into a dark pit.

And also, to warn people that I wasn't in the best of moods, I thought about it thoroughly before posting the following on Facebook and Instagram:

I was really surprised at the response that I received after the posting was done!

An ex-colleague privately messaged me via FB asking me what happened; my JC friend whatsapped me from the hospital as she visited her new nephew asking me how I was; the topper was a colleague who passed me a mixed tape CD of songs in the morning to help me get through the day. Really brought a smile to my face because I could also remember those days when we painstakingly made mixed tapes but nowadays, it's just drag and drop...nonetheless, it's the list of songs that were super thoughtful.

Sing treated me to a foot massage that Sunday and then we had a Sunday roast which I treated her to. For the longest time since I've ever remembered, both of us just hang out as 2 friends and chit chat. No babies, no husband of hers and no rushing around.

After this meltdown and receiving the response that I did, I can only conclude that I am so grateful and blessed to be surrounded by people who love and care about me. It's often easy to know that but to actually feel the love is really not easy and just like how you wouldn't know what light is without the dark, I wouldn't have known the extent of my friends' warmth and how many of these precious human gifts God gave me if I didn't experience this low. I'm really quite bad at showing how much I love my friends and I hope that they know that I do (eg. I do think about the presents that I buy for each and every one of you so that it's not a *ahem* photo frame).

Another conclusion? This whole incident (I still do not like to think of it as ONE incident as it's really a pile up of circumstances) has also cemented my resolve to take steps such that my life is moving at MY pace. Another sign from above was when I came across this article on Yoga and how it taught the writer that it does not matter whether you can do all of the poses or even how well you can do each pose. It's about being joyous in the moment of doing the pose, no matter how perfect/imperfect it may be. As long as you keep on practicing, you'll eventually get stronger and better! Life is a bit like a long marathon but it's not a race. Run at your own pace. Speed up or slow down as per what is suitable for YOU.

I keep going back to last September where I took the whole month off because it was during that period of time where I felt that I was returning to the real me. Where my body was healing itself and going back to what it should be. I was happy.

How apt it is then that my friend and I have planned WellnessYogi RESET. When we planned it, both of us were mere sleeping volcanoes and I had not expected myself to have erupted but I have. I definitely need to reset my mind and body so as to please my soul.
So it's now Lent, that lovely time before Good Friday and Easter, where we examine our lives and consciously try not to sin and remember the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus gave. As such, we are also encouraged to sacrifice something during this period. Normally, it involves something that we really love, which is why it would be a sacrifice. However, this Lent, I am going to challenge myself by giving up complaining. Here's a few reasons why:

1. It's a waste of energy
If you're upset, it is cathartic to vent and complain a little. My friends and family have heard me complain about a certain few people and they even know the nicknames of the various characters involved. However, there came a point where I was simply tired of complaining to them about the related problems. Complaining once or twice was good enough to vent and just hear their perspectives of things. Complaining about the same thing over and over again is not going to make the problem disappear or resolve itself. Better to save the energy used to complain to do something about it instead.

2. It blinds you from the blessings in your life
Let's put things into a slight perspective: there will always be people who have better days/items/luck than you and the opposite is also true - there will always be people who have crappier days/items/luck than you. Rather than focus on the problem or the shit that happens, always remember that what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. Be grateful.

3. It's a waste of time
This is kinda related to the 1st point about complaining being a waste of energy. So...not only are you wasting energy complaining, you're also wasting your precious time AND your friend/family member's time. Unless you're seeking advice on how to tackle the issue. I'd rather spend the time used to complain to catch up with my friend's life, especially in this day and age where I see more of my friends' lives on social media than face-to-face. Also, the time used to complain could've been spent on trying to see the issue from other angles/perspectives. Only then are you able to know how to resolve the problem(s).

4. It encourages negativity
Do you find your blood pressure suddenly rising when you're in the midst of complaining? Can't imagine that's very relaxing and helpful for your mental health. What if you're listening to someone complain? That's not a conversation. It's just a one-sided verbal barrage. That said, I must emphasise that the occasional rant is helpful because this helps relieve stress BUT if you catch yourself complaining about the same thing over and over again, you do need to know that you're not exactly the life of the party and in fact, you may be draining the energy from others. It means that you:
a) have not gotten over the issue
b) have not taken steps to resolve the issue
c) like the sound of your own voice
d) are victimising yourself and this does not encourage you to take charge

This is going to be a huge challenge because it goes against my base human nature. Nonetheless, it is Lent and if I'm going to make a sacrifice, I might as well make it a real challenge and hopefully, this will go beyond Lent!

I saw the photo below on my Facebook newsfeed today and I'm glad to see more and more of such movement(s) in the world.

Needless to say, I shared it and I wrote, "There are tons of 'invisible' illnesses out in the world. We should not judge others by what we have/ don't have, learn to accept that these illnesses are a struggle and that it takes a lot of self control for people to NOT whinge and whine about their illness(es) to others constantly."

As someone who has endometriosis and clinical depression, which is linked to my endometriosis (I shall now shorten it to 'endo'), I can really relate to how it is a struggle to smile to the world while your insides are just eating away at you. Don't get me started on the head trip that goes with every low when depression hits you nor the extreme pain I go through sometimes whenever Mother Nature visits.

The worst thing is that these illnesses are chronic. They will reoccur again and again, with almost no cure. Just prevention of symptoms or just making these symptoms milder so that they do not become stumbling blocks.

I get a bit offended whenever people talk about my weight and my weight gain. It is a side effect of endo (people with PCOS can relate) and it takes me 3x the effort to lose the weight. I'm already happy that I've maintained my weight without it ballooning further. I can't stand it when family, friends and some colleagues talk about my food intake as if I'm consuming 2,000 calories a day. I've checked. There are days and weeks when I meticulously note down all the food that I consume and guess what? I clock in at 1,500 calories on average! Sometimes 1,200 calories too! However, nobody sees this and whatever they assume, they believe. I still can't get over the fact that one of my directors skipped me when she was offering biscuits to everyone in the office.

Another thing about endo is the incredible amount of pain it brings and it's not constant. It comes and goes like a bad diarrhoea that visits you without the accompanying runs. You're so exhausted despite not doing much and you just can't concentrate on anything else except a good book/mindless games/how soft your pillow is. Whenever this happens, I can't help but take a sickie. But of course...a lot of colleagues think that I'm skiving or complain that I'm "always not around/always on medical leave". Some colleagues even go so far to say that I only work 3 days a week (I wish!). Best that I've heard so far: "she has so many days of medical leave meh?" Nope...I still have the same amount of leave as anyone else in the office and I do 3x the amount of work in the same amount of time. That's for efficiency y'all naysayers!

Honestly, people like me aren't asking for sympathy nor empathy. We just want all of you to be less judgemental and more understanding.

My friend shared this link via Facebook and I when I read the article, my thoughts came out in the following order:
  1. Men are such pigs
  2. That's why I refuse to download WeChat
  3. The article has a lot of grammatical errors...gahhh....
  4. Why do men cheat? Are their wives not having sex with them or they just enjoy the thrill of having affairs/the forbidden fruit?
  5. It takes 2 hands to clap. If women aren't putting out that easily, these men wouldn't be able to have affairs so easily.
  6. Who said Singaporeans aren't having sex?
  7. The article seriously needs a lot of editing
  8. I'm quite sure married women are doing the same
  9. Why do these people bother to marry if they're going to cheat? Can a psychologist explain this to me?
  10. Where are the good men in Singapore?
  11. This kinda reminds me of Paktor (another app that is a lot like Tinder)
I can understand the thrill of new relationships and how tempting it is to have flings with no strings attached. However, if you're married, think about your whole family. It's not just your spouse who is affected. I've met a young man of 25 and he has little respect for his dad because he saw his father parading his girlfriends in a flashy sportscar while still married. Imagine how your affairs will affect your children, if any.

I'm not condemning anyone who have had affairs but just remember your vows and do the right thing. For us singles, I just hope that we'll find spouses who will love us enough to remain faithful...unless you're into polyamourous relationships, then...uh...that's your thing.
Phew. I'm so thankful that this week is over and next week will be a short work week!! I love long weekends. I need to sleep more...

I'm now at a dilemma. My domain hosting for oopsiwannasay.com is coming up. Should I renew it and just continue with it? Or should I cancel it, get the domain www.oct1983.com and then concentrate only on that? Hmm...decisions decisions....do let me know what you think! :)
I have been just surfing the net for interesting bites:
1. The blogger who slammed me has since removed that post! :) Thank you!

2. STB's spanking new website is great! Never knew that we had food tours for tourists (may I join?) and get this - there's a contest where you can help your friends to fly down to Singapore for FREE. Don't understand why they're pushing the Marina Barrage as a new tour destination though...me think its boring and unless there were more trees/ fewer people.

3. Found a blog that lists all freebies/ contests in Singapore! Click 'here' to view.

A few reminders:
1. Mothers' Day is on Sunday, 10 May! I'm shocked and appalled that many of my friends aren't doing ANYTHING for their mums. No lunches, no dinners and no simple gestures/ presents! Well, I'm broke. Otherwise, I'd be bringing my mum out for a nice lunch. There is a reason why I'm offering 10% off ALL products and including gift wrapping for Oct 1983. *Big grin* Oops...I Wanna Say has its first paying customer today!! Wee~~~ I'm so thrilled, despite me not receiving payment yet. I know...its only ONE sale from that site but it is my pet project/business, which has been receiving rave reviews like "ooh...so innovative" and "love the concept" but nobody putting actual money down. To the point where I have semi-abandoned it. I need to seriously finish up the translation. My Chinese and Japanese sites are like 80% translated. Ok...ok...more like 60% =P

Ah well...just like my trading, 我得为自己加油!自分のためにがんばります!!!
Hey folks!

My spree community is UP and flying! We've named it "Travel Spree" and the pilots are Mel Li and myself! Do join the community if you are a spree organiser (a.k.a. cabin attendant) or if you just like to get things that either can't be found in Singapore or are cheaper overseas!

Kindly click 'here' or on the words "Travel Spree" above to access our spree comm and take off with us!
I've finally installed and managed to get Joomla running on my server. I'm trying to get a more professional website up for OCT 1983 Accessories. However, its not as user friendly as I hoped it would be. It immediately sets up this Joomla website on my site and then it doesn't really tell me HOW to change the pages etc. You would've thought that it would start with a blank page and then you add links and pics etc. No....its NOT that user friendly. No wonder there are money grabbers out there who are selling video tutorials for Joomla. Can someone pls SHOW me how to use this thing?? I'm starting to think that html coding might be easier..... :P

Oh...I just found out that Oops...I Wanna Say.com has been featured in Danish website! Check out my 'media' page in Oops...I Wanna Say! I'm also in the midst of setting up the Chinese version and its 80% done! I'm so proud of myself. I actually mastered the subdoman thingy without anyone teaching me. *pat on the back* *grin* Now...if I can see Ryosuke online, I will remind him about the Japanese translation that he owes me.

Ah well...I'm guessing that he's busy since he's going to graduate in April and is planning his grad tour to Taiwan and Korea (if I remember correctly). The dude's gonna move to Tokyo too. Who wants to practice their Japanese translation?? Only JLPT2 and above k. Otherwise, I might as well translate it myself. =P If you're interested, go take a look at OopsIWannaSay and then contact me here. Scroll over 'here' and you should see the email link.

Ooh...I just bought a recipe book with tons of ice-cream desserts! I'll try them out soon and will post piccies on them ;) That reminds me...I have yet to upload yesterday's Tea Party pics. Ah well...inertia.....
I am almost there...almost on my way to being a full hikikomori - holed up at home and glued to my computer. Only differences are - I don't lock myself in my room, I'm not afraid of interactions with humans and I do go out to walk my dog. That's about it.

I'm glued to my screen checking out my forex trading screens...and cursing at myself for not holding the trade long enough or cursing at the market, which can't decide whether it wanna go up or down. Yes, its volatile...but the good thing about this volatility is that if I hold a losing trade long enough, i'll break even. Trading is addictive. =P

Well, you guys are hearing this first: I will be having a "Tea Party" on Sat, 14 Mar from 2.30-5.30pm. There will be food, wine and jewellery (OCT 1983 and Jewels by Annie) on sale! I am currently in the midst of getting a manicurist and another vendor. It will be a girly day but it promises to be fun! I have yet to send out invites but it will be held at 42 Tras Street (Tanjong Pagar), 3F. First 20pax will get a free door gift! Bring your girlfriends and enjoy!
I'm thrilled to announce that OopsIWannaSay.com has received a good review on Singapore Entrepreneur!!

With regards to a comment from Sean on that website, I have already sent emails to certain commercial firms to do tie-ins with their products but have yet to receive any replies. So, I shall keep banging on doors until one opens up!
It has been 3 weeks since OopsIWannaSay.com has been launched and there has been 189 hits (not counting the 20 over hits garnered during the first week) without much outright marketing!! That's an average of about 10 hits a day! This is great and I am in the midst of revamping my site so any feedback and how YOU want it to look like will be more than appreciated.

The unfortunate part is that I still have yet to garner any sales but I am optimistic that OopsIWannaSay.com is just starting on its path. Moreover, I am planning to add a "Makeover" section, which I think is very pracitical because we do see a lot of people (both males and females) who will be arrested and charged by the fashion police.

Will update you guys soon on the outcome of the website etc.

Well, Chinese New Year is here and let me tell you how uneventful mine has been thus far. Day 1 was the usual where people came over to my place and that was ok. However, Day 2....Dad said that he's sick and so, we stayed home the whole day. The only time I stepped out of the house was to walk Baileys. Seriously. Boring.

Day 3, which was yesterday, was a flurry of activities as I met Mingxian for breakfast @ 9:30am (yes...mr super star is so busy that I got pushed to breakfast) but Killiney Kopitiam was closed...thank goodness Toast Box @ Centrepoint was open and we could satisfy Ming's need for kaya toast and soft boiled eggs. As he had to rush off to meet another friend for lunch, I went off to meet my parents at Funan to purchase my wonderful new laser printer!! Dad's a Challenger member so I already save $50 on the printer thanks to a member promo AND I saved another $20 because Dad had enough points to redeem it. Wee~ I saved $70!! Good deal! ;)

Today has been tiring as I had a full day stage 2 interview with MFA. Tons of tests, assessments etc and I wouldn't know the results till 2 weeks later. So don't ask me how it went. Its not your traditional interview. Tired. Poopy eyes....foooodd.......
Wow...quite a load of things have happened within a span of 2 days and well...for those who love pics...be glad that this entry will have TONS of them.

Let's start off chronologically so that its neater. My mum had received a bag of belimbing (sour fruit that apparently belongs to the starfruit family) and she decided to cook it the traditional peranakan way (err...is there any other?). Voila (to the left)!! Its not chilli hot at all (although its bright red) but its sour and savoury. Reminds me of peranakan achar minus the peanuts. Love the prawns in there...yumm.....

I just HAD to blog about it because most of you prolly aren't peranakan or have peranakan heritage so you wouldn't have a clue what Belimbing is (side note: Marriott Hotel in Orchard has a meeting room named Belimbing room).

Had reunion dinner last night and guess what? Ailian and I have the exact same camera except that hers is black and mine is pink. Wenqing has a Sony camera too!!! How many cousins have the same camera???

1st course - assorted platter of spring rolls, baby octopi (looks a little larger than the usual ones you get), ngo hiang, jellyfish, prawn mayo on a bed of mango and bbq pork. This reminds me of weddings already... (-.-)

2nd course - the typical shark's fin soup. Those who know me well know that I'm anti-shark's fin soup...especially the starchy variety presented above. Well...wasting food's a greater sin AND the shark's already dead...so...ah well.

3rd course - sliced abalone atop pork tendon and sea cucumber. Here's my critique:
Abalone = nothing exciting. It wasn't tender.
Pork Tendon = passable but the gravy didn't give it the oomph.
Sea cucumber = mix of soft and hard pieces. Uh...were they cooked at the same time???

I was just pretending to be yau kwee ok....we did take nice shots with Ailian's and Wenqing's cameras. I want them!! :P
4th course - steamed groupers. Whatcha looking @ me for? *aims for cheeks*

At this point in time...Zhi Jian was teasing how 3 of us were whipping out our cameras each time a new dish came and he even asked the waitress whether she had seen such people before. Haha....actually, Wenqing and I would've forgotten to take pics if it wasn't for Ailian - our resident food blogger.

5th course - fried/ roasted chicken. I'm guessing fried but it was really juicy and yummy!

6th course - curry cereal prawns. Knowing how much butter goes into this dish just makes me stay off it...ate only 1. Not bad but...buutteerr...*cringe and looks at tummy*

7th course - broccoli with shredded scallop. Ailian was disappointed that we didn't get whole scallops (I feel you babe) and our nephew Ming Ming spat it out. Hey...veggie's good for you!!

8th course - the usual fried staple dish. This time it is fried bee hoon. Not bad but as usual, we're all filled to the brim at this point in time. Took a couple of mouthsful and left the rest behind. I know...we shouldn't waste food but you're not fat like me :P

While waiting for dessert, we all got bored and started mucking around. Me admiring Wenqing's decorated Nintendo...amusing ourselves with our nephews' reactions to having toy cars 'stolen' by my uncle.

And then Ailian whipped out a box of fortune cookies that her aunt from the US bought.

Yes...fortune cookies...the not-quite-Chinese-but-yet-Chinese "invention" that Chinese outside of USA are exploring and are having fun with.

Here's my fortune: Luck will visit you on the next full moon. I hope so. I hope and pray that OopsIWannaSay.com will take off :)

Dessert's still not here and more mucking around. Here's me 'feeding' Ailian a cookie and she looks pained. Wenqing has another shot where Ailian looks as if she's eyeing my cookie. Haha...again, I WANT THAT SHOT!! This one's funny though...hahaha.....

Finally...dessert arrives. After distribution...its a pathetic amount in our bowls. Less than half man...and it seriously, looks better than it tasted. Ah well...at least that wraps up dinner!
Yes, I have been rather busy lately. First off, had been in church over the last weekend as we held a Young Adults' Weekend retreat. We're soon going to drop the word 'retreat' because its more like a journey or experience for us young adults - growing closer to God.

Went to the Tattoo Show in Expo (thanks to IS Magazine, I had won a pair of 3-day passes) and Chris Garver of Miami Ink was the special guest. So exciting...haha. We all thought that he was going to draw something on that girl...but guess what?
All he was writing was, "Posters, $20" (-_-;) But his posters were really nice. Would buy a piece if it were an oil canvas...if I had the money! HAHAHAHA....

Got a minor case of food poisoning on Mon morning thanks to our caterer for the weekend retreat. Funnily, only the female members of the organisers got food poisoning! We still can't pinpoint which dish caused our discomfort and diarrhoea but for sure, its the food. Wonder how's the compensation's going to be like. Thank goodness my stomach upset didn't cause any problems for my test for MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Goodness' knows when the results will be out.

After the test, I ate a quick lunch and headed to Lido and purchased a ticket to "Red Cliff". Yes, I watched it alone and no, I didn't feel lonely. I want to watch that movie so badly (btw, it was good) and my parents had watched it without me! Moreover, most of my friends are only free to watch it during the weekends. Watching it on Monday means I save $2.50....hahaha.

Tues was a blur of writing my executive summary and Garag3.com's application form. Only to be shot down by my friend who works at Garag3.com about how there are things to be improved on. As much as I appreciate his points, after reading through my executive summary again, I realised that he wasn't right. :P Anyway, another friend pointed out that my defensibility section was lacking. Now, THAT's constructive criticism.

Wed was another whirlwind day of writing press release and still having writer's block *sigh*. I met up with my friend, the financial planner, that afternoon to sort out some lovely admin thanks to my dad. He doesn't want to pay for my life policy anymore. As much as I understand, it is quite insensitive of him to kick up a big fuss just 2 weeks ago about still being charged a monthly installment on it. Err...hello...retrenched miss here who's living off my rapidly depleting savings??? Sheesh...talk about compassion.

Thu started really early thanks to a 9am interview. I compensated that with a nice large breakfast at tcc. I never knew tcc had a breakfast menu till Thu morning. It's expensive but really FULL. Yummy too *grin*. Hey...I have scrimped for so long...1 breakfast treat shouldn't be that bad right? Being Miss productive, I have finally set up my biz bank account!! Now, I'm a bona fide business woman *curtsies* and entrepreneur *curtsies*.

I have just sent in my grant application form *crosses fingers*. I hope I get a grant 'cos God knows I need that start up to hire a full time webmaster. No offense to you, Kewei-chan. You do know that I need someone who can dedicate a lot more time on my site.

*sigh* now comes the shopping around for a good webmaster who is cheap...haha. I know, I know...I'm asking for the sky and stars. Well, if you think that you're good AND you want to expand your portfolio, kindly drop me an email with your expected payment and a couple of sites that you have done to sales@oopsiwannasay.com

Thanks!
